Gail F. Schoenherr

Gail Frances Schoenherr, born May 13, 1947 in Utica and since 1950 has resided

in Davis, Michigan. She is a graduate of Romeo High School and since the day

after graduation was employed as a legal secretary for 30 years. She then went on

to finish her working career in the building department of Washington Township.

She enjoyed being with people, especially bowling, golfing, playing cards and any

party she could find. Knitting was a favorite hobby and her beautiful finished

products showed a very special talent that were always gifted to someone. During

her retirement, she joined the St Isidore’s Comfort Crafters, knitting shawls and

blankets for anyone to give to those needing comfort during their illness. She loved

this group and that love was returned during her illness.

Gail will truly be missed by many friends and relatives, but mostly by the

surviving family. Sisters Judith and Janice Schoenherr, brother James (JoEllen) and

sister-in-law Terri Schoenherr. Also many nieces and nephews: Jeff (Margaret)

Schoenherr, Robert Schoenherr, Heather (William) Paquette, Todd (Jennifer)

Schoenherr, Gregory (Julie) Schoenherr, Laura (Donald) Kern, Brian Schoenherr,

Stephanie (Lonnie Blanchette) Schoenherr, and Danielle (Paul Jr.) Camire, twenty-

one great and eight great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by

her parents James C. & Mildred Schoenherr and siblings: Richard (Sandra),

William (Joyce), Phillip, and Timothy, nephews Matthew and Scott.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 10 AM at St

Isidore’s Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Road, Macomb Michigan 48042)

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 with a 7 PM Rosary, Monday from 4-8 at the

Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo MI 48065).

Visitation on Tuesday at the church from 9:30-10 AM, the time of Mass. Burial

will follow at the Davis Cemetery in Ray Township
