Joan Carol Ferguson

Joan Carol Ferguson, age 78, passed away on January 26, 2022 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Joan was born on January 6, 1944 at Bishop Hospital in Almont, Michigan, daughter of Edward and Esther (Kreger). Joan was married to her loving husband John for 56 years, who passed before her. They were also residents of Armada Township for 56 years. Joan was known as the “Best” Grandma ever! She gave tea parties, cookie bake offs, built forts, and the craft table was the favorite place to be had. She loved Neil Diamond, George Strait, Classical Music, Toby Keith with “Red Solo Cup” being her favorite. Joan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan was a member of Grace Lutheran Fellowship of Bruce Township, Michigan. Joan is survived by her sons, Mark (Tammy) Ferguson of Clinton Twp, and Scott Ferguson of California. Grandchildren include Brandon, Antonio, Alexandria, Victoria, Julianne, Savanna and Brendan. Joan was a free spirited soul loved for her sweet, caring, dry humor, but most of all her unfiltered sassiness with that innocent smile. Staying true to herself and not changing who she was. She brought joy and happiness to all she met. She was caring and loving always wanting to hold your hand to show she cared! A loving soul we will see again! Love you ❤ Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Fellowship at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place on Monday January 31, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Michigan.
