Margaret Mary Elizabeth Mcintyre

Margaret Mary Elizabeth McIntyre, age 75 a 40 year resident of Romeo passed away on October 30, 2019 at Troy Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on February 13, 1944 the daughter of Angus and Mary Agnes (Gillis). She graduated from Dominican High School in 1962. Margaret then joined the Franciscan Congregation-Poor Clares. She spent 25 years in the Chicago/Indiana Area as a teacher then moved back to Romeo/Utica teaching here for 20 years. Margaret enjoyed working for St. Clement of Rome-Romeo church along with traveling and spending time with her family. Margaret is survived by her siblings; Archie McIntyre, Michael (Charlotte) McIntyre, Angus McIntyre, Joan Marie Raab, Catherine Ann McIntyre Levert, and Rita Anne McIntyre. Sister in law Joan Katherine. Predeceased by her siblings; John McIntyre, Norman McIntyre. Sister in law Connie McIntyre, Susan McIntyre and brother in law Charles Levert. Aunt and Godmother to many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church (343 South Main Street Romeo, MI 48065). Visitation will be on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 5-8 with a 7 PM Rosary. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capuchin Retreat House (62460 Mt Vernon Rd, Washington, MI 48094).
