Marjorie Louise Haworth, age 96, passed away on January 13, 2023 at home with her loving family. Daughter of
Frederick and M. Perle (Kimball) Ebeling born on September 25, 1926 in Romeo, MI. She grew up on her family
farm on Ebeling Rd. and attended Ebeling school which was a one room school house, through the 8th grade.
She graduated from Romeo High School in 1944. Marjorie worked in the office of General Motors Truck and
Coach in Pontiac during World War II. She retired from Rochester US Postal Service in 1985. Marjorie was a
long time member of Peace Lutheran Church in Shelby Twp. She enjoyed collecting, embroidery, solitaire, and
crossword puzzles, also dancing.
She is survived by her children: Frederick (Susan) Rogers, Joanne (Jay) Tressler, Robert Rogers (Oni), Richard
(Cindi) Rogers, and Mary (Michael) Silvey. She has one surviving sister Joanne Banghart of Romeo. Also 15
Grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, and 4 Great Great grandchildren, Step children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert Haworth, and sisters Dorthea Jones, Lois Baldwin, Helen Montes,
and brother Robert Ebeling. Also two grandchildren, Michael Silvey Jr. and Beth Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 17, 2023 from 2-8 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in
Romeo, MI.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at Peace Lutheran Church (6580 24 mi. rd Shelby
Twp.) at 10:30 am. Followed by the burial at McCafferty Cemetery in Bruce Twp.
