Paul F. Battani

Paul F. Battani aged 85, longtime resident of Bruce Township/Romeo passed away peacefully in his home on August 31, 2018. Paul was born on May 20, 1933 to the late Bert and Katherine (Conley) Battani. He enlisted in the Navy and was in the Korean War. Paul received his Bachelor's Degree from University of Detroit, then worked as a Special Agent for the Treasure Department/IRS. He loved the stock market, hunting, fishing, traveling and most of all just spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his loving wife Katherine; children Maryann Battani, Donald and Stan (Karie) Richardson, Susan (Jeff) Champine and Laurie (Daniel) Brooks; brother Raymond (Elsie) Battani and multiple adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Edward Battani. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or Parkinson's Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10 AM. Local arrangements made by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
