Thomas A. Battani, age 59, son of Myrna and the late Edward Battani of Bruce Township, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. After graduating from Romeo High School in 1979, Tom had an incredible 30 year career in the music industry, traveling the globe. During his many music tours, Tom acted as the stage manager, catering coordinator, carpenter, logistics and tuner for the bands he was working for. He was highly regarded and respected by his tour mates, as well as local friends in the industry. Tom was a great storyteller and had enough stories to fill hours of time. His “Live Nation Company” family was the center of his profession vibe. Tom was a jack of all trades, using his skills to help anyone in need. He was a dedicated and devoted friend who would give you the shirt off his back. Tom was devoted to his wife, Debra. There’re life was never boring and they loved each other deeply and wholly. Kids meant everything to Tom and he did his best to be a dad they could be proud of. Tom is survived, beside his wife Debra, mother Myrna, children Anthony (Christy) & Dylan (Emma), siblings: Janet Lanier and Ronald Battani and nieces & nephews Brandon Battani, Christopher & Katie Campbell. Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday Feb 10 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo (343 S. Main, Romeo Michigan 48065). Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo Michigan 48065) from 3-7 PM with a 7 PM rosary. Donations to the Funeral Home to offset funeral cost would be appreciated.
