Adelyne C. “Ade†Dvorak, age 88, a 40 year resident of Washington Township and formerly from Cleveland, Ohio, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Ade was born June 16, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Florentina (Maskowski) Horn. She married John A. Dvorak on August 30, 1947 at St Procup Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for many years in inventory control at Solaronics in Rochester Michigan where her husband was co-owner. Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling, reading books, bird watching, cooking, watching television, especially NCIS, and being a member of St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo where she sang in the choir for many years. Ade is survived by her husband John, children: James (Pam), Jean (Steve), Patricia (Tom), Margaret, Elizabeth (Joe), and Jane. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and brother Henry Horn of Columbia Station, Ohio. She was preceded in death by siblings: Elsie, Emma, Eddie, & Ernie. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Visitation will be on Monday from 6-8 and on Tuesday from 3-8 PM. Donations to the Leader Dogs for the Blind would be appreciated.
