Agnes Patricia Dougherty

Agnes Patricia Dougherty, age 93, a resident of the Romeo area for 7 years and previously from Manistique, MI., passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Patricia was born February 19, 1932 in Detroit, the daughter of Gerald and Marie (Ryan) Chafe. Patricia was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children. She married Donald Edward Dougherty on January 31, 1953 at St Rita’s Catholic Church in Detroit and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2018. Upon Don’s retirement, they moved to the Manistique, Michigan area. While there, they were members of St Francis De Sales Catholic Church. They were also members of the Elks Club, Manistique Golf & Country Club and Moose Lodge.

Her greatest joy was being with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her many friends she met during her lifetime.

Patricia is survived by her children: Donald (Amy) of Troy, Donna (Michael) Fox of Leonard & Janice Stokes of Fowlerville, MI. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be said on Wednesday, April 30 at 10:30 AM with visitation from 10 AM until time of Mass at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. (3077 Glouchester Drive, Troy, MI. 48084). Donations to Beaumont Hospice would be appreciated.
