Agnes Kondrat

Agnes C. Kondrat, age 88, a 20 year resident of Dearborn Heights, and formerly from Detroit,  passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Twp.  Agnes was born November 27, 1919 in Detroit, the daughter of John and Mary (Knotek) Gazarek.  She married Stanley Kondrat who preceded her in death in 1995.  Agnes worked for Chrysler Corporation as a secretary at their main headquarters in Highland Park for 30 years before retiring in 1980.  Her hobbies upon retiring in 1980 include gardening, enjoying her wild birds, and taking care of her dog Smiley.      Agnes is survived by her son George (Mary) Kondrat of  Washington Twp., along with their children Linda (Ken) Staelgraeve, Brian (Danita) Moloney, & Sean (Bonnie) Moloney.  Great grandchildren include Erika, Melissa, Derek, & Matthew Staelgraeve, and Ryan, Ian, Lavin, Eamon, Rachel, Kaitlyn & Brennen Moloney.      Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.  Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4-9 at the Henry M.
