Alan H. King

Alan H. King, age 51, a 14 year resident of Almont and previously from Shelby Township, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home. Alan was born January 9, 1970, the son of Henry and Anna (Ruby) King. He married the former Sheri Lawrence on September 29, 2007 at Hartwick Pines State Park in Grayling, Michigan. Alan worked for Ace Hardware at the Vinckier’s Store in Almont for many years and before that he was a machinist at both Michigan Metal Craft in Utica and Experi Metal in Sterling Heights. His hobbies include tinkering on his old lawnmowers and tractors at his house. Alan is survived by his wife Sheri, son Alex (Jamie) Tasker, father Henry King along with siblings Daniel (Mary) of Washington Township and Arthur (Lorraine) of White Lake, MI; grandfather of Noralynn Tasker; brothers-in-law Joseph (Peggy) Ward, Robert (Ute) Lawrence, and Martin (Dori) Lawrence and sister in law Trina Lawrence; niece Melissa (Peter) and nephew Justin (Stephanie); great nephew Henry and his beloved fur kids. Alan was preceded in death by mother Anna King. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Tom Brink officiating. Burial will take place in Standish Michigan at the Arenac Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan
