Albert E. Malburg

Albert E. Malburg, age 95, a resident of Armada, passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at Meadows Assisted Living and Care Campus in Mount Clemens.

Albert was born December 17, 1926 in Utica, Michigan, the son of Edward C. and Mary E. (Cnudde) Malburg. He married Marie Theut on October 23, 1948 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica, MI.

Albert was a lifelong farmer and realtor. Albert enjoyed golfing, dancing, cards, cooking, and traveled to Florida for 27yrs, where he met many of his dancing friends.

Albert is survived by his children: Karen Goodhue, Nancy Gordon, Richard Malburg, Mary Jo VanSteenkiste, Myron (Theresa) Malburg, Suzanne Malburg, Edwin Malburg, Frederick (Jennifer) Malburg, Alison Melanshek, Joyce (Matt) Beaker, Regina (Todd) Woodcox, daughter-in-law Karen Nanni, 38 Grandchildren, and 51 Great Grandchildren. Along with sisters JoAnne Schatko and Rosemary VanDaele. Albert is predeceased by his former wife Marie Malburg, son Daniel Malburg, and sons-in-law Richard Gordon and Dale Goodhue. Siblings, Wilfred, Francis, Eleanor DeBuck, Bernice Reichenbach, Norman, and  Louis.

He will be missed by many and cherished in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church (95 Market St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will take place at West Berlin Cemetery.
