Alfred D. Klein

Alfred D. Klein, age 88, a 50 year resident of Bruce Township, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Wellbridge Nursing Facility in Romeo. Alfred was born June 27, 1927 in Rossiter, Pennsylvania, the son of Harry and Mary (Varhol) Klein. He married Rose George in January 3, 1948 in Detroit. Alfred worked for Ford Motor Company in skilled trades as a millright at its 17 Mile & Mound and 18 and Van Dyke plants till he turned 62 in 1989 when he retired. He served his Country proud in WW II and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed golfing. Alfred is survived by his wife Rose of Bruce Township along with daughters Linda Klein of Bruce Township and Diana Klein of Milford. Also survived by siblings Raymond of North Carolina, James and Jean both of West Virginia. Alfred’s siblings included Margaret, Floyd, Herman, Howard, Charles, Raymond, Gorge, Jean, James, Nicholas, and Edward. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 24 at 2 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with burial to follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 AM to 2 PM when the service will start.
