Alice C. Becker

Alice C. Becker, age 90, a 32 year resident of Caseville, and formerly from Eastpointe, MI., passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Twp. Alice was born Oct. 25, 1919 in Detroit, the daughter of Fredrick and Dorothea Buhr. She married Robert Becker on Sept. 6, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1997. Along with her husband, they were longtime members of St Roch’s Catholic Church in Caseville where she was a member of its Altar Society. She also volunteered for many years with blood drives for the Red Cross and loved to play cards and be a part of the Library Club of Caseville. Alice is survived by her twin daughters: Kathy Arnoske of Washington Twp. and Marny (Neal) Brown of Oxford, MI. Grandchildren include Bob Arnoske, Carol (Ken) Malek and Jaime Taylor. Also survived by great grandchildren Jessica & Daniel Malek along with her sister Arline Custer of Caseville. Alice was preceded by her daughter Susan Taylor, son-in-law, John Arnoske, granddaughter Joanne and her sisters Josephine & Dorothy. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with a 7 PM Rosary by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018. Visitation: Monday from 3- 9 PM Services: 7 PM Monday Night
