Alphonse J. (Bud) DeLamielleure, age 79, a resident of Washington Township for 19 years and previously from Shelby Township, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Harbor Chase Nursing Facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Bud was born September 27, 1937 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Mary (Helmich) DeLamielleure. He married the former Sharon McIntosh on September 8, 1956 at St Anne’s Catholic Church in Warren and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2011. While growing up in Warren, he worked at his families restaurant, the “Victory Inn” on 12 Mile and Mound for many years and then along with his brother Darrel, owned/operated a Shell gas station also on 12 Mile & Mound. After working at the gas station, Bud worked for “Vidosh Brothers” as a Vice President in charge of opertations for over 30 years before retiring in 2006. Bud served his country proud in the Navy, belonged to both St. Clement in Centerline and St. Clement of Romeo, and enjoyed helping out the Romeo/Washington Goodfellows. Bud is survived by his children: Dawn (Keith) MacDonald of Rochester and Darren (Brenda) DeLamielleure of Grand Blanc, MI. Grandchildren include Shannon (Nolan) Smith, Jordan (Meghan) MacDonald, Bryce, Tanner, Danielle, and Garret. Great grandchildrenMackenzie and Maswell Siblings surviving include Laura (Joe) Sudia, JoAnn (Mickey) Pagels, Marlene (Dave) Farmer, Thomas (Miriam), Dave (Sharon) & Joe (Geri) DeLamielleure. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Nancy Muylaert, Margie Castele, and Darrel. Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. A private memorial for the family will take place at a later date.
