Ammon “Ace” Clark Martin, age 87, passed away on Sept. 11, 2021. Ammon was born on August 30, 1934, the son of Ammon A. and Florence P. Martin. Ammon graduated from Pontiac High School, Jan of 1953. He received his associate degree from Pontiac Radiology School, where he then moved on to be Chief Technologist at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Mi. Ammon also served his country as a Marine. In 1973 he married Linda Neddermeyer, at St John’s Lutheran Church in Romeo and spent the next 48 years together. Ammon is survived by his wife Linda, three children, Victoria J. (Mike) Beynen, Julie A. McGowan, David C. (Sandy) Martin. Grandchildren, Justin E., Nathalie R., and Megan Light, Eric McKnight, Taylor McGowan, Vanessa McGowan, Emma Koenig & Jaclyn Martin. Great Grandchildren, Khloee Middler, Rylen Fabrner, Eden McKnight, Judah McKnight, Eliza McKnight, and Katherine Ann Koenig. Preceded in death by his son Danny E. Martin. Funeral services will take place on Friday Sept. 17, 2021, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (8600 27 mi 48094) at 11a.m. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Thursday Sept. 16, 2021 from 4-8 and at Our Redeemer on Friday from 10 AM till time of service at 11 AM. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Shelby Twp. The family requests that any monetary donations be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
