Amy Lee Kutchey

Amy Lee Kutchey, age 48, an 11 year resident of Almont, formerly from Shelby Township and Washington, passed away August 4, 2024 at her home. Amy was born May 15, 1976, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, the daughter of Fritz and Linda (Oehmke) Ziehm. She was a 1994 graduate of Romeo High School, where she enjoyed her time as a cheerleader. After high school, Amy worked in the medical field. On May 9, 1998, on Mother’s Day, she married Christopher Kutchey at Big Beaver United Methodist Church. Amy had a passion for photography, and owned her own business, Amy Lee Photography. Amy also enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, boating, golf, crafting, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Amy is survived by her parents, Fritz and Linda Ziehm of Chesterfield, husband, Chris Kutchey of Almont, daughter, Shelby Kutchey of Almont, sister, Andrea Siegel of Chesterfield, nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Siegel, Cameron Siegel, and Josh (Melissa) Tillery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with funeral services at 7:00 PM, held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Michigan Humane Society.
