Anna K. Milosic

Anna K. Milosic, age 95, a 9 year resident of Ortonville, MI., and formerly from Sterling Heights, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Ortonville, MI. Anna was born March 23, 1914 in West Virginia, the daughter of Michael and Mary Gasparovich. She married Michael J. Milosic on June 24, 1939 at St Jerome’s Catholic Church in Detroit and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1992. She currently belonged to St Lucy’s Catholic Church in Troy. Her hobbies included going to casino’s, playing bingo, enjoyed painting, and playing the lotto. Anna is survived by her children: Virginia (Glen) Weidner of Smith Creek, MI., Stephanie (Ivan) Kokotovich of Wales, MI., Michael (Saundra) Milosic of Florida, Theresa (Jim) Ulrich of Ortonville, MI., and Joseph (Elaine) Milosic of Clarkston. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 27 1/2 great grandchildren, and her brother Joseph (Elsie) Gasparovich of Shelby Twp. Anna was preceded in death by her grandson Keith Kokotovich and brothers: Steve, Tom, Michael, & Andy. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church (Formally St. Philip Neri) 9735 Dolan Rd.Columbus, MI 48063, with Fr. Joseph Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo Michigan) on Saturday from 5-9 and on Sunday from 2-9. In lieu of flowers donations to the Avalon Hospice or Hospice of Michigan would be appreciated.
