Anna Lange, age 97, a lifelong Armada Township resident, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Anna was born in Detroit on May 30, 1917, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Schuch) Deppong. . On January 28, 1939, she married Edward Lange who preceded her in death on January 7, 2002. Anna, along with her husband Ed worked their dairy farm in Armada Township for many years. She belonged to the First Baptist Church in Romeo and also to the Eastern Star of Davis, MI. Anna was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her beloved Detroit Tigers play baseball. Anna is survived by her nephews Gary (Nancy) and Danny (Peggy) Hawald, and Rick (Patti), Dennis, and Ronnie Lange along with her niece Pauline Lange. Also surviving include her sister Helen (Tom) Oppat of Livonia and their special family/friend/neighbor, the Collin’s, Dave, Jackie, and their children Bryson, Kendra, Brent, and Dave. Along with her husband Ed, she was also preceded in death by her nephew Donnie Lange and brother Joseph Deppong. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Bob Bryant of the Woodside Bible Church of Romeo. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Ray Township. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9:30 AM till the service starts at 11 AM. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
