Anna M. King, age 74, a lifelong resident of Shelby Township, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Anna was born November 9, 1939 in Mt Clemens, MI., the daughter of Roy and Mildred (Collins) Ruby. She married Henry King in 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica, MI. Anna worked for many years as a secretary for Capital Equipment in Washington Township. Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening and all types of wildlife. Anna is survived by her husband Henry, sons: Daniel (Mary) of Washington Township, Arthur (Lorraine) of White Lake, MI., and Alan (Sheri) of Almont. Also survived by grandchildren Justin, Melissa, and Alex along with brother Richard (Joe Ann) Ruby of Harrison, Michigan. Precious great grandson Henry. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 13 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Jeffrey Draeger of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Washington Township officiating. Burial will take place in the Arenac Cemetery in Standish, Michigan. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 and on Sunday from 2-8 PM.
