Anne P. Aikman

Anne P. Aikman, age 78, a lifelong Romeo/Washington area resident passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Anne was born March 8, 1931 in Romeo, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Proctor) Saul. She married Charles Edsel (Ed) Aikman on August 26, 1950 at St John Lutheran Church, Romeo. Anne was a longtime member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Striber-McVicar Post # 2052 in Romeo and also belonged to St John Lutheran Church of Romeo. Her hobbies were going to casino’s and being with her VFW friends. Anne is survived by her husband Ed, sister Shirley Kreinbring and her niece Kathy Higgins both of Nokesville, Virginia. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date at the Romeo Cemetery. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
