Anthony J. Nardozzi, age 59, a resident of Bruce Township for 35 years, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the U. of M. Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tony was born August 11, 1956 in Detroit, the son of Eddy and Gina (Pisetti) Nardozzi. He married the former Katherine Karpinski on October 25, 1975 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Warren, Michigan. Tony retired as a journeyman welder from American Axle in 2003 after 10 years of employment and previously worked as a welder for General Motors. After retirement he started his own company called “Aim Improvement” doing home renovations in the Macomb County area. His love of his church, St Clement of Rome led him to spend many hours doing maintenance and anything that needed to be done there. He was a Past Grand Knight and Past District Deputy with the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 of St Clement of Rome and a member of the Bishop Schoenherr 4th Degree. His hobbies include all types of hunting, fishing, and bowling. Tony is survived by his wife of 40 years Kathy, daughters: Marcy Dillon of Rochester, MI., and Kristin Nardozzi (Nick Banka) of Novi, Michigan. Also survived by his parents Eddy and Gina Nardozzi of Sterling Heights and his 3 brothers, Edward (Theresa) of Clinton Twp., Michael (Cheryl) of Howell, MI., and David (Teresa) of Macomb, MI. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 10 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8 and on Tuesday from 2—8 with a 7 PM Rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
