Archibald McIntyre

  Archibald McIntyre, age 89, a resident of Shelby Township since 1974, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Vista Springs of Washington Township, Michigan. Archibald was born March 27, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Angus and Agnes McIntyre. Archibald graduated from St. Bernard Catholic School in Detroit. He married Connie Stevens, and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage before her passing in 2016. Archibald worked at Wolverine Carbine in Troy; he spent his whole life working in the Tool and Die field. Archibald loved his family, and loved going to Marco Island Florida. He had a great appetite, and enjoyed good conversation and a good meal.

  Archibald is survived by his children, Angus (Lisa Postl) McIntyre of Harrison Township, Archie (Nicole) McIntyre of Ray Township, Scott (Kelly Williams) McIntyre of Macomb Township, Lynn Cuadra of Madison Heights, and John (Beth) McIntyre of Monroe Connecticut, siblings Michael (Charlotte) McIntyre, Catherine Levert, Rita McIntyre, Angus McIntyre, sister-in-law Joan McIntyre, grandchildren, Brittney, Benjamin, Roberto “Tito,” John Evaristus Faith, Archie “AJ,” and Emma Agnes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie and sister in-laws Susan along with Beverly Gourdie and her husband Bill. Brother in law Charles. Sibilings; John Evaristus, Joan Marie, Norman Joseph, and Margaret Mary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 10:00AM, at St. Clement Catholic Church (434 South Main Street, Romeo), instate at 9:30AM.

A luncheon to follow at Marcus Grill (55690 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48316).
