Arlene M. Pedrotte

Arlene M. Pedrotte, age 78, a resident of Romeo since 1985, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home. Arlene was born May 9, 1938 in Warren, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Roseanne (Metter) Gmerek. She married Charles Pedrotte on September 14, 1957 at St Clement Catholic Church in Centerline, Michigan. From 1958 till 1964 she worked as a self-employed beautician in the Centerline area. Along with her family, they were longtime members of St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo where she helped with many funeral luncheons at the church. Her hobbies include reading, knitting, and most of all, being with her many family & friends. Arlene is survived by her husband Chuck, children: Matt of Fair Haven and Coreena (David) Hall of Romeo. Also survived by grandchildren Andrew, Jessica, & Laura, great granddaughter Sophia along with siblings: Greg Gmerek of Huntington Woods & Janet Gmerek of Sterling Heights. Arlene was preceded by grandson Jeffrey, siblings: Duane & Thomas. Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 8 at 11 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with intombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Donations to the Capuchin Retreat Center in Washington Township would be appreciated. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
