Arline R. Monache

Arline R. Monache, age 89, passed away on January 1, 2015 at Henry Ford Macomb hospital. She was born on August 11, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, and is the daughter of Herbert and Mary Monache. She retired from the U.S. Corps of Engineers in 1973. Her hobbies were reading, gardening, quilting and taking her mom to the races. She made many religious pilgrimages and was a long time member of St. Clement Catholic Church and a member of St. Joseph’s Convent for one year. Arline is survived by her sister Maxine Phaneuf of Washington, Michigan, brother John Monache of Grand Marais, Michigan and brother Ron (Sharon) of Rochester, Michigan. She was the proud and loving Aunt of 32 nieces and nephews. Services will take place on Monday January 5, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Slowinski officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 PM until 8 PM with a Rosary service at 7 PM. Arrangements made by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
