Arthur "Arty" J. Bergey

Arthur “Arty” J. Bergey, age 53, of Imlay City and formerly from Romeo passed away on June 30, 2014 at Lapeer Region Medical Center. Arty was born on December 16, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, the son of Elton and Juanita (Young). On September 12, 1991 he met Diane Craig and on the exact day one year later they were married. Art y loved fishing, camping, lawn work, and his two dogs Peanut & King. Arty is survived by his loving wife Diane of Imlay City. Stepsons Scott (Laura) Morris of Armada and Bill Morris of Imlay City. Brothers Lyle of Davidson and Vern (Jean) of Coleman. Sister Penny Geddert of Spruce. LeeAnn (Mark) Saunder of Ohio. Also many nieces, nephews, brother in laws, and sister in laws. He was predeceased by his mother Juanita father Elton, stepfather Kenneth, stepbrother Art Caswell, and stepsister Pam Caswell. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Porter officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 2, 2014 from 2-8.
