Arthur Lee Bruen Jr.

 Arthur Lee Bruen Jr, age 82, a 27 year resident of New Haven, formerly of Warren, Michigan, passed way Monday March 17, 2025 at Corewell Health Troy Beaumont Hospital. Arthur was born January 24, 1943 in Tennessee, the son of Arthur Lee Sr and Kelma (Stone) Bruen. After graduating high school, Arthur joined the Army. He served his country for 20 years before being honorably discharged. Arthur married Patricia Kathleen Thompson on September 27, 1997 at Faith Macomb United Methodist Church. Arthur worked for the Chippewa Valley School System, then retired to start his own cleaning business. He also worked for TEAM Service as a vault technician. He enjoyed reading, woodworking and solving suduko puzzles.

Arthur is survived by his wife Patricia of New Haven, sons, Arthur Lee Bruen III (Patrice) of New Hudson, Warren Bruen of South Lyon, Mark John (Kim) Pearson of Dryden Township, Howard James (Trisha) Malhado of Imlay City, grandchildren, Amanda Bruen, Chloe Bruen, Cassandra (Jake) Malhado, Carson Malhado, Ethan Pierson, and Liam Pierson. Arthur is preceded in death by his brother, David Bruen, sister Barbara, and grandchild Corey Malhado.

Visitation will be held on March 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Faith Macomb United Methodist Church, with the service following at 11:00 AM. The church is located at 56370 Fairchild Rd, Macomb, MI 48042. A luncheon will follow the service.
