Arthur Carr, a 57 year resident of Romeo passed away on Tuesday August 12, 2014 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Arthur was born on April 13, 1925 the son of Ora and Ruhenie (Tinney). He proudly served our country for 4 years in the Army. He worked for 40 years at Fisher Body/General Motors. Arthur loved to travel and grow flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed many winters in Florida golfing. Lastly, he was a Scout Master and very active in the Romeo United Methodist Church. Arthur is survived by his children Janet (Keith) Radak of Ypsilanti, MI, David & Roger Carr both of Berkeley, California, and Mary (David) Fullilove also of Berkeley, California. Grandchildren include Amy (Mark) Powers, Lisa (Chris) Lenaway. Great grandchildren Lia Powers, Andrew Powers, and AJ (Arthur James) Lenaway. Brother Vernon Carr of Illinois and Sister Neva Barker of Florida. Cousin Kermit Thompson of West Virginia. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Florence (Beth) in 2011. Funeral services will take place on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11 AM at the Romeo United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Glanville Officiating. Visitation will be on Friday August 15, 2014 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will be on Monday August 18, 2014 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at 9:30 AM. Memorials can be made to Romeo United Methodist Church.(280 N. Main St. Romeo, MI 48065). Visitation: Visitation will be on Friday August 15, 2014 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Services: Funeral services will take place on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11 AM at the Romeo United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Glanville Officiating. Interment: Burial will be on Monday August 18, 2014 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at 10 AM.
