Arthur J. Redmann

Arthur J. Redmann, age 81, a 42 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Hamtramck, MI., passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Harbor Chase Nursing Facility in Sterling Heights, MI. Arthur was born February 10, 1927 in Hamtramck, MI., the son of Leo and Edna (Schultheis) Brotzke. Arthur worked in maintenance for the Romeo School System for 23 years before retiring in 1996. He previously worked in construction for Fritz Builders in Romeo and Theut's Construction in Utica. Arthur served his Country during WW II in the Army and belonged to the American Legion, Post # 261 of East Detroit for 48 years. His hobbies included tinkering at his home & listening to the sounds of the Big Band era. Arthur is survived by his son Griffin (Mechele) of Romeo and his daughter Jane (Douglas) Rennison of Napa, California. Also survived by grandchildren Stephen (Lyndsey) & Sarah Rennison along with great grandchildren Olivia & James. His brother Frank (Joan) of Sebring, MI., and his sister Dorothy Brewer of Crossville, TN. also survive. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 7 at 11 AM with the Rev. John Boyd officiating. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, MI.
