Arthur L. Nichols

Arthur L. Nichols, age 64, a 35 year resident of Addison Township, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home. Art was born October 30, 1952 in Southfield, MI., the son of Joseph M. and Pauline (Lealand) Nichols. He married Janie Bolado on August 26, 1972 in Frankfurt, MI. Art worked at “D’Agostini & Son’s” Road Construction for many years and retired as a Project Engineer. Along with his wife and family, they were long time owner/operators of the “Club Detour” in Benzonia, MI. Art had many and varied interest when he wasn’t working. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, big game hunting, competitive trap shooting, riding his motorcycle, and watching baseball, NASCAR, and football. Art is survived by his wife Janie, children: Candi and Chris and grandchild Tristian. Memorial services will take place on Wednesday, October 18, at 2 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Eric Majeski of Grace Lutheran Fellowship of Bruce Township officiating.
