Audrey J. Pype

Audrey J. Pype, age 88, a resident of the Romeo area since the early 1950’s, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Wellbridge Nursing Facility in Romeo. Audrey was born April 9, 1930 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Roy and Sophie (Kaczynski) Nicols. She married William (Bill) G. Pype on October 24, 1953 in McKeesport, PA then moved to the Romeo area. She worked for over 25 years at TRW in Washington Township as a purchasing agent, retiring in 1998. Her hobbies include Tole painting and all types of nature art. For many years she was a member of St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Audrey is survived by her 2 sons, Donald of Oscoda and David (Sue) of Almont. Also survived by her 2 grandsons Tyler & James along with her niece Polly (Frank) Barcena. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill on March 22, 1985 and her brother Ron Nicols. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 8 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM.
