Barbara D. Pennington

Barbara D. Pennington, age 58, a 25 year resident of Ray Twp., passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center. Barbara was born May 27, 1950 in Warren, MI., the daughter of Stephen and Wanda (Sokolnicki) Hotary. Barbara married Ferrell Pennington on Sept. 26, 1969 at St Clement Catholic Church in Centerline, MI. She was a longtime bookkeeper for J.R. Collision in Utica. Her hobbies include reading, being with her dogs, and driving her beloved 1966 candy apple red Chevy Nova. Barbara is survived by her husband Ferrell, siblings Pamela Ackerman of Armada, Rick (Elaine) Hotary of Clinton Twp., Steve Hotary of AK., Kevin Hotary of CN and her lifelong best friend Diane (Gary) Kanarek of Sterling Heights, MI.
