Barbara E. Brown

Barbara E. Brown, age 73, a 15 year resident of Metamora, Michigan and formerly from Romeo, passed away at her home in Metamora on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Barbara was born April 9, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant MI,, Michigan, the daughter of Gerald and Marga (Heatherington) Palmer. After graduating from National Mine High School in Ishpeming, MI. Barbara married Bryan Brown on December 5, 1964 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1991. Barbara was a Romeo Bus Driver for over 25 years. She loved her grandkids and followed all of their activities over the years. She loved to play bingo, sew, crochet, do puzzles in the winter, and love to bird watch, especially orioles and hummingbirds. Barbara is survived by her children: Kathy Brown (Nancy Lamb), Tammy Fritz, Kem (Mike) Conley, and Craig (Tina) Brown. Also survived by grandchildren Matthew (Lia) Morauski, Abby Morauski, Brooklyn Brown, Caden Brown, David Conley, Abigail Conley and T.J. (Samantha) Fritz. Also survived by great granddaughter Ayden, Addaline and her special adopted grandchildren Kaylla Koster & Brittany Snider. Also survived by brother Maxx (Susan) Palmer & sister Kate Lapides. Barbara was preceded in death by son-in-law Tobin Fritz, grandson Michael Morauski and siblings John & Rich Palmer. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 5:30 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with visitation on Saturday from 1 PM till 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations in memory of Barbara to the Ronald McDonald House, Detroit.
