Barbara E. Hamilton

Barbara Ellen Hamilton, age 88, a resident of Washington Township since 1968, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Assension Hospital (formerly Crittenton Hospital) in Rochester Hills, MI. Barbara was born September 25, 1931 in Carlton, Minnesota. After graduating from Carlton High School as its valedictorian, Barbara earned her nursing degree from Duluth Minnesota. In 1956 she married Louis Hamilton in Carlton. Her hobbies include square dancing, loved to be a nurse, and knitting. Barbara is survived by her husband Louis, children: Bradley (Genie) of Fort Wayne, IN., Bryan (Sherrie) of Kalamzoo, MI., and Richard (Faith) of Novi, MI. Grandchildren include Dan (Abby) Hamilton, Lisa (Jordan) Hamilton-Spann, A.J. (Alyssa) Hamilton, Katie Hamilton, Michelle (Andrew) Hamilton-Ricci, Christopher Hamilton, Brittany Hamilton, and Jessica Hamilton. Great grandchildren include Scarlett, Hazel, Violet, Evelyn, Natalie, Luke & Meridith. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church (343 South Main Street Romeo, MI 48-65). Visitation to take place on Friday from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Barbara Hamilton. Www.cancer.org.
