Barbara J. Alfonsi

Barbara J. Alfonsi, age 78, of Romeo and a 10 year resident of Gaylord, Michigan passed away on January 1, 2014 at St. John Hospital-Detroit. Barbara was born on August 31, 1935 in Hancock, M.D. the daughter of John and Florence (Shives) Eddy. Barbara loved to do crafts , camp, travel, and cook. She loved to paint and was very good at it. She was known for making something out of just about anything. Barbara is survived by her children Patti (Rick) Lange & Tony (Paula) Alfonsi both of Almont, Mark (Debbie) Alfonsi of Ray, Denise (John) Furitano of Canadian Lakes, MI., and Annette Bernard of Transonic, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Tom, Kelly, & Paul Lange, Michael (Amy), Emily, Brian, & Therese Alfonsi, and Natalee, Mason, Preston, Madison, Isabelle, & Ruby Bernard. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 2010. A funeral mass will take place on January 4, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. Jerry Kessel officiating. Visitation will be on Friday January 3, 2014 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
