Barbara Jane Ganfield

Barbara Jane Ganfield, age 91, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Wellbridge Assisted Living Facility in Romeo after a long illness. Barbara was born August 9, 1926 in the Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Lenore (Heppner) Lyons. Barbara grew up in the Romeo area and graduated from Romeo High School. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, and was an avid sports fan. She was also very involved with fashion and clothes design. But her love of life was just spending time with her many family, friends, and her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her son Gregory (Wanda) Ganfield of Oxford and grandchildren: Mike (Mara) Ganfield & Derek (Penny) Ganfield . Also survived by great-grandchildren Noah, Logan, Garrett, Gavin, Ava, & Abigail. Barbara is survived by her sisters: Bette Ann (Marv) Miller & Suzanne (John) Cassidy. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Robert L. and Lenore K. Lyons, siblings: James & Robert R. Lyons, and her sister Sally Franklin. Services are private. Local arrangements by the Henry M.
