Barbara L. Salamasick

Barbara L. Salamasick, age 84, a 22 year resident of Prescott, MI., and formerly from Romeo, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at St Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. Barbara was born January 4, 1927 in Romeo, MI., the daughter of Frank and Edrie (Waite) Hamilton. Barbara worked as a health care worker for many years at the Church of Christ Nursing Home in Ray Township and worked for many area residents as a health care worker. Barbara is survived by her children: James Crawford, Jr of Prescott, MI., Robert (Lynn) Crawford of Port Sanilac, MI., and Carol Lester of Pontiac. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and siblings: Mary Bentley & Frances Weiner both of Romeo and sister-in-law Barbara Hamilton of Attica, MI. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband’s, James Crawford and Michael Salamasick and her brother Frank Hamilton. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 1 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Jerry Boritzki of the Silver Crest Baptist Church of Waterford, MI., officiating. Burial will take place in the Romeo Cemetery.
