Benjamin F. Wrobel

Benjamin Francis Wrobel, age 32, a 14 year resident of Grand Rapids, formerly of Almont, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, in the comfort of his childhood home, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Benjamin was born on August 20, 1991, in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the son of John and Paula (Reiss) Wrobel. Ben was a 2009 graduate of Almont High School, and continued his education, attending Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids. Ben graduated with a degree in Graphic Design in 2014 and went on to work for Newell Brands, in Kalamazoo, MI.

Ben loved his life in Grand Rapids, and enjoyed the art, the community, and all the city had to offer. He made many close friends while living in Grand Rapids, and always gave his support to help them in their endeavors, whether it be design elements, assisting in song lyrics, or simply discussing cooking. Ben was the dearest and most supportive friend to all who knew him.

Ben is survived by his parents, John and Paula Wrobel, brother John A. Wrobel III, grandparents John and Barbara Wrobel, niece Fae Wrobel, nephew Ash Wrobel, Aunt Cheri (Bruce) Cunningham, Uncle Bruce Wrobel, Aunt Sheila Wrobel, and cousins Linda (Kyle) Lackowski, Dan (Emily) Cunningham, Courtney Wrobel, and Justin Wrobel. Ben is predeceased by his grandparents Ben and Janice Reiss.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, from 3:00PM – 8:00PM, and the Henry Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Michigan.
