Benjamin L. Proctor

Benjamin L. Proctor, age 74, passed away on September 21, 2016 in Romeo, MI. Benjamin was born on January 24, 1942, the son of Thomas and Edith (Sias) Proctor. He served in the US Navy from August 12, 1959 to January 23, 1965. He was a resident of Romeo, MI since 1974. Benjamin was a custodian for Romeo Schools for 10+ years and also worked at Big Red Orchard from 1974-1981. He was a collector of coins, liked going to the Casino and to Bingo. Benjamin also liked to make hats. Benjamin is survived by his wife Mary (Sova) of Romeo, MI and their children; Fred (Shirley) Proctor of Romeo and Mike Proctor of Romeo. Siblings Jim Proctor of Oak Park, Elsie Proctor of Cheboygan, Mary Wall of Las Vegas, Helen Pytts of Florida, Averil Niesen and William Crowner. Grandchildren Jamie (Anthony), Tammy and Christa, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Also, pre-deceased by brothers Fred Crowner, Howard Tamlyn, and sisters Sarah Green and Sharon Rose. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 6 PM with Rev. Eric Majeski officiating. Visitation will be on Monday September 26, 2016 from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
