Bernard "Bennie" Wojnowski

Bernard “Bennie” Wojnowski, age 60, a 13 year resident of Ray Township and formerly from Memphis, MI., passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Mt Clemens Regional Hospital. Bennie was born July 28, 1950 in Mt Clemens, the son of Bernard Jr. and Dorothy (Dobrzynski) Wojnowski. Bennie worked for over 35 years at the Romeo Engine Plant, working in machine repairs. His hobbies include woodworking, farming, and hunting. Bennie is survived by his daughters: Dorrie (Dave) Zakrzewski of Kimball Township & Beth Wojnowski of Capac. Grandchildren include Wesley & John. His parents Bernard Jr & Dorothy Wojnowski of Ray and siblings Karen Madden of Sterling Heighs, Larry (Pam) Wojnowski of Warren, David Wojnowski, and Jackie (Don) Chace of Macomb survive. Memorial visitation will be on Tuesday, June 21 from 3-7 with a 6:30 PM religious service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo). Donations to MARL (Michigan Animal Rescue League) would be appreciated.
