Betty J. Agosta

Betty J. Agosta , age 78, passed away on October 15, 2024, after a long illness at the Cornerstone Hospice Center in The Villages in Florida. Betty was born in Detroit, Michigan, January 23, 1946, the daughter of Ivan and Dorothy (Travis) Luddington. Betty was one of eight siblings. She had three brothers and four sisters. Betty married Carl A. Agosta on September 3rd,1966. Together, they raised two sons, Carl and Anthony, and three grandchildren, Jeremy, Alyssa and Jordan. As a family, they lived in Detroit, Sterling Heights, Aurora Ohio (briefly) and Washington Township, Michigan. They retired to The Villages of Wildwood Florida, where they have resided for the past year. Betty enjoyed spending time with her Family and friends, but especially with her Grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl A. Agosta, sons, Carl M. Agosta (Janet Nowicki), Anthony J. (Renee) Agosta, grandchildren, Jeremy (Chelsea) Agosta, Alyssa Agosta, and Jordan Agosta. Sisters Dorothy Beauchene and Barb Glass. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Dorothy, siblings James Luddington, Nancy Sassin, Carol Miller, Bill Luddington, and Richard Luddington, brothers-in-law Ken Beauchene, Francis Sassin, and Chet Glass.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at St Clement Catholic Church, instate for family only at 9:00 AM, for the public starting at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, all donations given to the family will be sent to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Mariposa Way, The Villages, Florida, 32162.
