Betty L. Cotter

Betty L. Cotter, age 84, a 24 year resident of the Romeo area and previously from Holly, MI., passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Romeo Nursing Center. Betty was born January 30, 1926 in Hamburg, MI., the daughter of Clarence and Genieve Auten. She married Hollis D. Cotter and he preceded her in death in 1986. Betty loved to go camping with her family, hunting, and fishing. Betty is survived by her children: James Cotter of North Carolina, Loretta (Frank) Payne of Romeo, Renee (Claude) Chammas of Las Angelus, Elizabeth (Sam) Weidner of Grand Rapids, Theresa (Robert ) Jones of Hazel Park, MI. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and was preceded in death by her son Bob and daughter Debbie. A Memorial Luncheon will take place on Friday, December 3 from 3-7 PM at the Romeo VFW. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
