Betty M. Hovey

Betty M. Hovey, age 91, a 30 year resident of Romeo/Washington area and a ten year resident of the Village Rehab and Care Center of Armada, passed away on Tuesday July 16 2013 at the Village Rehab and Care Center in Armada, Michigan. Betty was born on January 18, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Bernard and Anna Brosnan. Betty worked at the Ford Proving Grounds for 10 years as a Administrative Clerk. She was also a former member of the Beta Sigma Phi-Romeo. Betty loved to knit, do ceramics, and all of her grandkids. Betty is survived by her two children Michael of Detroit and Patti (Tom) Plotkowski of Shelby Twp. Also, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1991 and her son Steve in 2000. Also, her siblings Evelyn Austin, and Bernard. A memorial service will take place on Saturday July 20, 2013 from 10 to 12 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
