Betty Wilma Gates

Betty Wilma (Schocke) Gates, 82 years old, passed away on June 23, 2011 with her family by her side in Justin, Texas. Betty was born on July 28, 1928 to Carl and Lavinah (Kimball) Schocke of Romeo. She touched many lives with her unwavering love for God, Family, eternal optimism, musical talents, and athleticism. She is missed and survived by her husband Bill of Roanoke, Texas, children: Gerald and Jean Morenz of West Bloomfield, MI., & Betty and Rudolf Russart of Wilington, North Carolina, David Morenz of White Lake, MI, Wayne Morenz of Waterford, MI., Charlene and Joe Paddock of Grove, Oklahoma,, and Dwayne and Angelique Gates of Roanoke, Texas, step-children, Dan and Donna Gates of Roseville, MI and Gary and Peggy Gates of Atlanta, Georgia. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10 AM at the Life Point Christina Church, 501 Scott Lake Road, in Waterford, MI. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery.
