Beverly A. Stone

Beverly A. Stone, age 80, a resident of Bloomfield Hills for 30 years , passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Beverly was born January 20, 1935, the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn (Barna) Shafer. Beverly worked for many years as waitress/manager in local restaurants and in medical records at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Her hobbies include baking, gardening, reading, being with her many family & friends and spending time with her beloved dog Bailey and watching the deer in the woods around her home. Beverly is survived by her children: Ellen (David) Tippit of California, Bob (Candie) Eggert of Las Vegas, Beth Pereny of Madison Heights, and David (Maureen) Eggert of Washington, MI. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, along with siblings: Richard & Karen Shafer of Romeo, MI., John Shafer of Rochester Hills, & Susan & Terence Hill of Tsawwassen, BC. Beverly was preceded in death by her husbands; Robert Eggert & Charles Stone along with siblings: Jim Shafer and Ellen Allison. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM.
