Beverly J. DeGrendel, age 81, a 2 1/2 year resident of Sterling Heights and formerly from the Fort Gratiot/Romeo area, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St John-Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI. Beverly was born December 28, 1930 in Detroit, the daughter of Harold and Fern Everett. She married Raymond F. DeGrendel on May 10, 1952 at St John Birchman Catholic Church in Detroit and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1990. For many years she was active with the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Frasier. Beverly was an avid bowler and belonged to many bowling leagues. Her love of life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her sons: Raymond (Patti) DeGrendel of East Tawas and David of Romeo. Also survived by 10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, daughters Susan & Kim Ellis and her brother John Everett. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Bob Harvey of the Heritage Church of Sterling Heights officiating.
