Bill Wilhelm, age 57, a 6 year resident of Dryden, and formerly from Attica Twp./Ray Twp. passed away on Sunday February 5, 2017 at Lapeer McLaren Hospital. Bill was born March 2, 1959 in Detroit, the son of Bill and Gertrude (Younger) Wilhelm. He married the former Anna Peludat on June 13, 2015. After attaining his Master’s Degree from Michigan State at its facility in Troy, Bill worked as an account manager for Key Safety in Sterling Heights for many years. When Bill was not working, he enjoyed farming/gardening at his house in Dryden and riding his 4-Wheeler. Bill is survived by his wife Anna, daughter Molly Wilhelm of Macomb Township, Brandon Moore of Dallas, TX., and Melissa (Andy) Boyce of Chicago. Also survived by his mother Gertrude of Dryden Twp., and siblings: Anne Wilhelm of Clinton Twp., Donna (Randy) Lesage of Washington Twp., Paul (Laura) Wilhelm of Macomb Twp., Patty (John) Soroka of Sterling Heights, Colleen (Bob) Ferner of Auburn Hills, Glenn (Katie) Wilhelm of Rochester Hills, and Kathy (Jeff) Hoenle of Sterling Heights and also survived by 27 nieces & nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father Bill and brother Ronald. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 9 at 6 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo) with visitation on Thursday from 2– 6 PM. Donations to ALS or to the Food Bank in Dryden would be appreciated.
