Bonnie Lee Sasseen

Bonnie Lee Sasseen, age 64, a 35 year resident of Armada Township, passed away at her home on Friday, January 29, 2021. Bonnie was born February 13, 1956 in Mt Clemens, the daughter of Irvin and Virginia (Rojeski) Steinbrink. Bonnie retired from Ford Motor Company at its Proving Grounds in Romeo where she worked as a test driver for over 20 years. Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening around her house (she was well known for her green thumb), loved to decorate her house, sewing, and playing with her antique John Deere tractors and drive her old truck around. She was an avid bird watcher, especially her oriole’s that she enjoyed feeding and watching. Bonnie is survived by her two sons Jonathan & Adam along with her siblings: Barb (Roger) Marshall of Washington Twp., Patty (John) Fryer also of Washington Twp., Tom (Cathy) Steinbrink of Macomb, MI., Rodger (Mendy) Steinbrink of W. Branch, MI., Ginger (David) Steinbrink of Armada, & Susan (Bubba Dan) Coenen of Columbus. Also survived by many nieces & nephews and was preceded in death by siblings Bob, Cassandra, Shirley and one nephew Joshua Parrott. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo.
