Branton S. Horton

Branton S. Horton, age 76, a 22 year resident of Romeo, passed away on Saturday June 9, 2012 at Crittenton Hospital & Medical Center. Branton was born on August 14, 1935 in Morenci, Michigan, the son of John T. and Kathryn (Sharr) Horton. He married Kathleen Donovan on December 29, 1962 in Inglewood California. Branton loved to do many things such as woodworking, wine making, and gardening. His favorite thing to do was to simply read, he loved reading books about the Civil War and history. Branton is survived by his wife Kathleen of Romeo. Sons Jeff (Kenia) and Gregory Horton of Romeo. Daughters include Kimberlee Placek of California, Jennifer Willis of Washington Twp. and stepdaughter Leslie Aiello of Maryland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Monday June 18, 2012 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci, Michigan at 3 PM. Visitation will be on Sunday June 17, 2012 from 2-8. Arrangements by Henry M.
