Brenda Sue Raines

Brenda Sue Raines, age 76, a 32 year resident of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her home. Brenda was born April 27, 1948 in Knoxville Tennessee, the daughter of Amos Paul and Helen Louise (Sharp) Emert. Brenda married Kenneth E. Raines September 28, 2001 at their property in Shelby Township. Brenda was self employed as maid during her working career. Brenda was a great painter, and loved crafting, antiquing, yard sales. She loved nature, especially flowers and birds. To her nieces and nephews, Brenda was known as the Fun Aunt.

Brenda is survived by her husband Kenny Raines of Shelby Township, sons, Bill (Cindy) Trainor of Mount Pleasant, and John Trainor of Shelby Township, sister Barb (Dick) Smith, grandchildren, Jennifer (Clinton) Williams, Jonna (Aaron) Grady, Joseph Trainor, Nevaeh Trainor, William Trainor, and Michael Trainor, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Paula (Bruce) Harvey, and nephew Brian Smith.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
