Brian J. Smith

Brian Jacob Smith, age 41, a lifelong resident of Richmond, passed away Monday January 11, 2021 at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Brian was born July 18, 1979 in Rochester, the son of Richard and Barbara (Emert) Smith. Brian worked in construction his whole life, enjoyed fishing and bowling, and was a Ford Mustang fanatic. Brian is survived by his parents Richard and Barbara (Emert) Smith of Richmond, children Alexis, Sierra and Austin Smith, siblings Missy (David) Hayduk of Yale, and Rich Jr. (Amanda) Smith of Romeo. Along with his girlfriend of 17 years April Kicinski. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M with a service at 7 P.M. at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Thursday at 10 A.M. at the Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
